Although it may seem like Apple’s iPhone 5 was just released, rumors concerning the specifications and features of the Apple iPhone 6 have already begun to circulate.

Apple has already caused much speculation in reference to the new phone’s physical hardware. Apple has been granted a patent that concerns technology to produce an iPhone out of a single piece of metal, in an effort to make the phone lighter.

In addition, Apple has also hinted at the availability of a wider range of colors for the iPhone besides the basic black and white cases.

Another feature becoming available on other phone’s is the curved glass screen which uses lens technology to produce a better picture, while adding a unique elegance to the device. Apple was apparently pursuing business deals with companies dealing with lens technology in a specialized curved glass.

The Apple iPhone 6 is also expected to employ the next generation of display technology known as p-Si LCD, which stands PolySilicon Liquid Crystal.

Liquid crystal technology is incredible efficient as it permits massive integration in which the driver circuits which powers the display are directly integrated.

This allows the screen display to be brighter, consume less battery and thinner. The iPhone 6 is already speculated to feature an edge-to-edge screen display, as most iPhone competitors already feature a larger screen display than the Apple product.

Apple is expected to also improve the quality of the iPhone camera into HD capacity of at least 13 megapixels. There has also been speculation concerning a possible projector feature that will allow the phone to display pictures and videos on nearby flat surfaces.

Another new technology known as Gorilla Glass is expected to be featured on the new iPhone.

The display would be thinner than the material on current iPhones, while also improving the overall durability of the device.

As smart phone have become more compatible, the device’s battery have been faced with powering greater usage time.

Apple has been hinting at technology for a wirelessly charged iPhone which could include solar chargers or inductive charging using electromagnetics. In addition to battery life, smart phones face constant criticism on storage capacity.

Apple previously unveiled the Cloud Storage technology, but is also expected to boost the iPhone 6 storage capacity to 128 gigabytes.
